I have the honor to report that that I have fully examined the case State of Georgia vs. Thaddeus Collins (col.), formerly the property of Dr. Collins of Columbia County charged with ravishing one Margaret C. Brown of said County on the 21st day of June A. D. 1863 and find that he, the said Thaddeus, not guilty of an assault upon or ravishing the said Margaret C. Brown as charged, he is therefore discharged from custody and will not again be arrested or tried upon this charge.
